Foods To Keep You Warm This Winter



Winters is around the corner. What comes to our mind next is woolen cloths, sweaters, jackets etc. With cold weather comes a lot winter ailments like cough, cold, sneezing etc. To enjoy this cold weather what we need to do is to keep our body healthy and increase its immunity. Here is how we can make this season happier and healthier by including some good natural foods in our diet.

Ginger

Ginger’s anti-inflammatory property helps in treating common cold, cough and running nose.
It is rich in antioxidants, thus helps in increasing immunity. 
If you don’t like its taste, after making this tea you can add honey and pepper.

Jaggery

Antioxidant in jaggery protects lungs and throat against infection. It helps to keep body warm during winter. It is anti-allergic and is beneficial for asthma patients.

Sesame seeds

During winter season having sesame seeds gives warmth and energy to body.  It increases immunity and physical strength. Sesame seeds and jaggery helps to keep your body warm during winter season.

Groundnut

Carrots

We have heard carrot is good for eyesight, but there are many other benefits of the same. Carrot juice removes vitamin A and E deficiency from our body. Drinking a glass of carrot juice daily increases the memory.
