Foot Care At Home

[Saw your feet, they are very beautiful.  Don't place them on the ground, they will get dirty]

Everyone wants to have beautiful feet. As we take care for so many other things, how can we forget our feet. Feet balances the wait of the body and transmit it to ground. They help us in standing, walking and running. Basically they allow us to move. When one part of machinery stops working, it has effect on overall functioning of the machine, similarly if we don’t take enough care of feet which is the main component of our movement, it effects the body too.

We do have beauty parlors which provide services like pedicure, foot massage for our foot. It's good if we have time to use these services. But I am sure many people because of busy and hectic work schedules don’t have time to go and get these services done for their foot. We can still take care of our feet by following some simple ways at home. 
So let’s get started.

Wear comfortable footwear

I know many of you will agree that we go to buy footwear our first preference is shoes with attractive design and are stylish and trendy. It’s ok to certain extent to buy such kind of footwear but we need to take into account how comfortable they are to wear. 
Footwear should fit you properly. It must have some extra space for toe area.

Moisturize foot

After we apply any soap on our skin it, it leaves skin dry and rough. By applying a good moisturizer, foot natural moisture can be maintained. It’s better to do this at night.

Soak feet in warm water

Soak your feet in for 5- 10 minutes in warm water with some salt. This helps to remove the toxins and soften the foot. It can be done twice a week.

Scrub feet
Try scrubbing your feet with pumice stone. It helps to exfoliated dead skin. It also helps in blood circulation. If you have cracked heels, first soak feet in water with soap for some time then gently massage with pumice stone.

Wear socks
If your feet skin is prone to cracks, it’s good to wear socks during day.     
  
Massage feet
Massaging your feet helps in detoxification and improves blood circulation. You can use any oil for massage.
